The process is simple. Send us the full manuscript of your work, with a cover letter and book synopsis.
If you haven’t yet finished the book but would like to know if it would be something we are interested in before completing, then you are also welcome to send a sample of the manuscript to us.
There are no word count limits or requirements. We'll review and let you know when it is time.
We only accept digital copies of your work, preferably as one single document in Microsoft Word or PDF format. If a file is larger than 15mb, send a .zip file or share a link to download or to shared access.
At Plum Publishing, we work with the hybrid publishing model and offer a hybrid publishing contract. This offer is based on a contribution, to be paid by the author, to cover basic publishing services and any additional services you wish to include, such as editing, book cover design, and book marketing.
Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation of submission. A review can take up to 4 weeks on average before you will receive a decision.
Congratulations! If your manuscript does get accepted, you will hear back with questions, options, and next steps. All published authors are listed on the website as a featured author, announced in a press release, and on social media.
Thank you and good luck! If you do not get chosen, you will hear back and we will do our best to introduce you to a publisher accepting new submissions in your category or genre.
We consider submissions from a all genres, both fiction and non-fiction, including crossover, blended, and sub-genres.

Please include your name, genre, and book title in the subject of the email and send us the following:
1. Cover letter
2. Book synopsis
3. Full manuscript - either attach a word document or pdf to the email or a link to a google doc.
We only accept submissions written in the English language. Translation into other languages is an additional service we offer.
We are only able to consider one submission at a time.
Always use a font that is legible and easy to read like Garamond or Times New Roman.
Your submitted manuscript will be reviewed by by an Editor who will get in touch with you with their feedback. This process can take up to 4 weeks on average. This timeframe can vary depending on the time of the year and the volume of submissions at that time.
We will confirm the receipt of all submissions and inform you of our decision regarding them either way.
